District and priority service
The district service of the Mönchengladbach police station
The district service maintains contact with citizens, institutions such as kindergartens and schools as well as many organizations.

In addition to patrolling the police stations, the Mönchengladbach police also deploy district officers. In addition to performing security tasks, they are primarily intended to be contact persons for residents, tradespeople, clubs and district councils. They provide on-site assistance and can draw on the security network of the entire police authority.

Their district officers are present in the respective districts, they take part in so-called "round tables" and support residents' initiatives to improve the quality of life. They work closely with the citizens' representatives in the district and support associations and organizations at public events.

The office hours apply in all Mönchengladbach district offices:

Mondays: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Thursdays: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

- and by appointment!

As the employees of the district service are heavily involved in accompanying the St. Martin's processions in the city area, the citizens' consultation hours unfortunately have to be canceled from November 2 to 16. Thank you for your understanding!

The head of the Mönchengladbach police district service is First Chief Superintendent Guido Gauls at the Alter Markt location. His deputy is Chief Superintendent Willi Schinken at the Rheydt location.

You can reach the office of the district service, which is also located at the Alter Markt site, by calling 02161 29-22801.

You can find the contact person for your district service location in our district service brochure at the top right of this page.
