In addition to patrolling the police stations, the Mönchengladbach police also deploy district officers. In addition to performing security tasks, they are primarily intended to be contact persons for residents, tradespeople, clubs and district councils. They provide on-site assistance and can draw on the security network of the entire police authority.
Their district officers are present in the respective districts, they take part in so-called "round tables" and support residents' initiatives to improve the quality of life. They work closely with the citizens' representatives in the district and support associations and organizations at public events.
The office hours apply in all Mönchengladbach district offices:
Mondays: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Thursdays: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
