The control center

All tasks of the entire Traffic Directorate are coordinated in the command center. It comprises the Internal Services, Traffic Matters and Traffic Accident Analysis departments. This is also where duty rosters are drawn up and all traffic operations are planned. In particular, the statistical figures that are included in the road safety meetings with other authorities are recorded here.

The traffic inspection 1

Traffic Inspectorate 1 is subdivided into the Traffic Service and the Traffic Accident Prevention / Victim Protection Unit.

The Traffic Service is responsible for traffic monitoring. The traffic safety advisors carry out traffic accident prevention and victim protection and run the crash course events in Mönchengladbach.

The traffic inspection 2

Traffic Inspectorate 2 is home to the investigators from Traffic Departments 1 and 2.

Traffic Inspectorate 1 is responsible for processing traffic reports. Traffic Inspectorate 2 is home to traffic accident processing and hit-and-run investigations.
